Fr. Tolton Regional Catholic's co-ed tennis team ended its season with a 0-6 loss to the Marshall High School boys Tuesday.

In losing in the District 8 Class 1 second round to the No. 1 seed in Marshall, Tolton failed to advance as a team to the doubles portion of the game after failing to win a singles match. Tolton No. 1 seed Joe Fulca came the closest, forcing Marshall's Gerritt Murphy to a third set.

Tolton (6-7) did send two doubles teams and two singles players to the district individual tournament, which will be held Saturday at Marshall High School.

Tolton previously defeated Boonville 5-1 in the first round of the district team tournament.
