IlaMae Long, of Harrisburg, July 8, 1920 - May 10, 2013

IlaMae Long, 92, of Harrisburg, MO passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at her daughter’s home. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Monday, May 13 at Nilson Funeral Home 5611 East St. Charles Road Columbia, MO. Funeral Services will be 10 AM Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Harrisburg Christian Church 201 East Sexton Harrisburg, MO, burial will follow in Harrisburg Cemetery.

IlaMae was born July 8, 1920 in Boone County, MO to Barsh and Beulah Buckler Stidham. She spent her entire life in the area. She married Charley Lee Long on July 20, 1940 in Jefferson City, MO. He preceded her in death August 11, 2000. She spent her entire life as a home maker, raising two children, and helping her husband on the farm. She was a faithful member of the Harrisburg Christian Church for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Owens and husband Herbert of Harrisburg, and son Gary Long and wife Donna of Harrisburg, MO; grandchildren, Morgan and wife Keeley Long and Jason and wife Miranda Long, Matthew Owens, Charlyn Crowley and husband Russell, Melissa Kiral and husband Justin, and Michelle Schmidt and husband Brian, and eight great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband Charley, a brother Nelson Stidham, and a sister Betty Voorheis.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harrisburg Cemetery Fund.
