Tolton's Chase Freidel qualifies for the girls state track meet

Tolton track's Chase Freidel finished second in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.08 at the sectional meet Saturday. Her performance qualified her for the girls state meet next weekend. 

Freidel finished sixth in the long jump at 15 feet, 6 1/4 inches. She was part of the 4X200 meter team that set a school record in 1:52.06 and finished fifth. The team also included Laura Richardson, Madelynn Harvey and Lacy Stephen.

Emily Gregory finished sixth in the 3,200 meters with a time of 13:21, which was also a school record.

On the boys' side, Cameron Bagley competed for Tolton in the sectional meet and finished seventh in the 1,600 meters.
