JACKSON — Four judges from the Missouri Court of Appeals are going on the road to hear arguments in eight cases this week.

The St. Louis-based Eastern District said the judges will hold session Thursday in southeastern Missouri, convening at the Cape Girardeau County Administrative Office in Jackson.

Members of the public are invited to hear attorneys argue eight appeals from the trial court in Cape Girardeau County. The sessions will take place at 12:30, 2:30 and 3:30 p.m.

If time allows, the judges will take questions from the public afterward about the judicial system.

The Eastern District has sent judges to southeastern Missouri each year since 1981 as a convenience to lawyers and litigants. This will be the second time the court has met in Jackson.
