The Black Crowes to perform at Roots 'N' Blues 'N' BBQ Festival

COLUMBIA — The Black Crowes will perform Sept. 21 at the Roots 'N' Blues 'N' BBQ Festival, Thumper Entertainment announced in a Wednesday morning news release.

The Black Crowes released a live album this year, "Wiser for the Time," and has been playing in the United Kingdom and the United States on its Lay Down with Number 13 tour, according to the release. When the tour ends on June 2, the band will perform in Europe from June 18 to July 6 at shows and festivals, including two stadium shows with Bruce Springsteen.

Other acts playing at the festival, which will be held from Sept. 20 to 22, include Blues Traveler, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Mavis Staples, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Keller Williams with The Travelin' McCourys, Mudcat, Phosphorescent, Alejandro Escovedo, Vintage Trouble, Johnny Winter, ZZ Ward, Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn, Dale Watson, Samantha Fish, Peter Parcek, The Bel Airs, Hatrick and Chump Change.
