Fairfield Elementary School hosted its fifth grade field day and graduation pizza party on Wednesday. They played various games and ate food. The fifth graders will be moving on to three different middle schools in the new school year.

COLUMBIA — Fifth-graders at Fairview Elementary School celebrated their final days together Wednesday with a graduation party and Field Day games.

The students enjoyed cotton candy, snow cones, pizza, a photo booth and a DJ at the event. Because of new school boundaries, the fifth-graders at Fairview will be attending three different middle schools in the fall.

Younger students cheered as the older students walked the school's track for a ceremonial last lap.
