Michele Dillehay, Jan. 11, 1956 — May 10, 2013

Oklahoma City native Michele Dillehay died on Friday, May 10, 2013. She was 57 years old.

Michele is survived by her sisters Kaylyn Dillehay Blank and Shaun Dillehay, brother-in-law Larry Blank and her nieces/nephew Jamie Blank, Michael Blank, Danielle Blank and Haley Dillehay Lister.

Predeceased are sister Jamie Dillehay, parents Gene and Patricia Dillehay and her beloved dog Silver.

Memorial services were held on Friday, May 17, 2:00 pm at Guardian Funeral Home located at 5820 NW 41st St.

Michele Dillehay was born on January 11, 1956 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Putnam City High School in 1974. Michele attended Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri.

She became an Avionics Technician in the Navy, received a Doctorate in Naturopathy and was certified as a Massage Therapist.

In 2012, she received her Airframe and Powerplant licenses through Metro Technology Centers. Michele worked as an avionics technician at Commander Aircraft, Kestrel Aircraft, March Air Force Base and the Air National Guard in Oklahoma City.

She served in Iraq as a civilian aircraft technician during "Operation Iraqi Freedom."

She was last working at AAR in Oklahoma City as an aircraft mechanic. Michele legally changed her name to Ma Gnanadevi Ananda, as a blessing from the SwamiJi, meaning "Enlightened Healer." Ma Gnanadevi was loved by many.
