PHOTO GALLERY: 35th annual Bianchi Cup pistol competition continues through Saturday

The 35th annual Bianchi Cup continued Thursday at Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club in Hallsville. Doug Koenig won the Bianchi Cup in 2012 was competing again this year. The event, considered to be one of the most prestigious pistol competitions in the world, continues through Saturday.

HALLSVILLE — Competitors in the 35th annual Bianchi Cup gathered at Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club in Hallsville to participate in the prestigious contest.

Among those participating is Doug Koenig, winner of the 2012 Bianchi Cup, and Andrea Moroni of Italy and Richard Siebert of Australia.

This event is a combination of speed and accuracy as shooters fire at both stationary and moving targets, according to the Bianchi Cup website.

The competitions continues through Saturday.
