Two victims injured during burglary; three men sought

COLUMBIA — Two men were hit on the head and treated for minor injuries Monday night after a burglary on the 100 block of East Hackberry Boulevard, according to a news release from the Boone County Sheriff's Department.

Three men entered the victims' residence wearing gloves and bandanas to cover their faces. They demanded money.

The men had guns, and one round was fired during the burglary. No one was hit by the bullet, according to the release.

One victim was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries, and the other was treated by ambulance personnel.

The department asks anyone with information about the burglary to contact CrimeStoppers at 875-7477.
