COLUMBIA — A Dover, Pa., man connected with an out-of-state homicide and theft was apprehended by Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers Monday night.

Sgt. Paul Reinsch, with the Highway Patrol, said once Bryan Wayne Brackbill's vehicle entered Columbia, its license plate was identified as one matching an entry in the patrol's computer system. Troopers were able to locate the vehicle and took Brackbill to Boone County Jail.

Brackbill will remain at the jail until extradition paperwork can be worked out, Reinsch said. Reinsch was not able to offer information on the specifics of the homicide case at this time.
