Rosemary T. Chandler, Aug. 4, 1945 — June 10, 2013

COLUMBIA — Rosemary T. Chandler, 67, of Columbia, went to be with her Jesus Monday, June 10, 2013, at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Nilson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at the funeral home.

Rosemary T. Chandler was born August 4, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Gerald and Mary Louise Brady Mayes. She married Melvin Chandler on May 8, 1965, in Columbia. Rosemary worked for fifty years at Boone Hospital Center. During those years she drove an ambulance, served as a paramedic, E.M.T. and at her retirement was a Senior Buyer for the hospital. She loved to travel, raised Doberman Pinscher dogs, raised and showed Quarter and Paint Horses, and sponsored the Junior Saddle Club for children. She had many friends over the years and will be missed by all.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin. One god-daughter; Paulette Wetter (Andrew). Two sisters; Geraldine Wright of Moberly and JoAnne Mayes of Columbia. One nephew; Jeffrey Chandler (Tammie) of Millersburg. Two god-grandsons also survive; Jakob and Max Wetter.
