COLUMBIA — The Missouri softball team has been ranked 11th in the nation in the final Softball Collegiate Top 25 poll and USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 poll.

The Tigers (38-14, 15-8 SEC) finished their season May 24 in the program's sixth-straight NCAA Super Regional, dropping consecutive contests to Washington.

Missouri finished third in the Southeastern Conference's regular season standings in its first league campaign. Then the Tigers advanced to the championship game of the SEC tournament in Lexington, Ky., where they lost 10-4 to Florida.

Three other SEC schools finished ahead of Missouri in the polls: No. 2 Tennessee, No. 5 Florida and No. 10 Alabama.
