COLUMBIA —  A Kentucky man was killed following a crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 70 near Warrenton.

Alyssa Crawford, 19, of St. Charles, was headed west on I-70 when she lost control of her car and traveled through the median, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol online traffic crash report. Her car overturned and struck 55-year-old Joseph Wiechert's motorcycle. He was headed east.

Wiechert was pronounced dead at the scene. Crawford suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital West. Crawford was wearing her seat belt.

Crawford is a student at MU.
