COLUMBIA — This week, Missourian photographers captured images at the MU's Museum of Art and Archeology and Museum of Anthropology, which are relocating to the former Ellis Fischel building. They also took pictures at Wingstock, which raised money for the Central Missouri Honor Flight, and of area residents picking up their rain barrels.

In this photograph by Sini Stephan, art teacher Ann Mehr and her third-grade students from Lee Elementary School strike the same pose as the Greek sculpture Diskobolos throwing the discus during a tour of MU's Museum of Art and Archaeology on Tuesday.

Megan Donohue captured this image on Friday of Faith Simpson, a temporary worker with Labor Ready, preparing for area residents to pick up the rain barrels they purchased at a discounted rate.

After the Celebration of Life service for Eliot Battle on Saturday, Sini Stephan shot this photograph of Battle's granddaughters, Olivia and Alexis Battle, reading a hymnal book.

In this photograph by Megan Donohue, Phylshawn Johnson, left, plays the piano for her fiancée Violet Vonder Haar on Wednesday. They plan on getting married on Oct. 12 and their marriage will now be recognized by the federal government after a Supreme Court decision Wednesday.

Quint Smith shot this image of children on a carnival ride outside of Mid America Harley Davidson on Thursday that took place as part of Wingstock, which raised money for the Central Missouri Honor Flight.

Quint Smith captured this image of the Museum of Anthropology's artifacts at the Museum Support Center on Wednesday. The museum is moving to the former Ellis Fischel building, which might offer more space for the museum's collection - most of which is stored off-site.
