19-year-old woman falls out of window

COLUMBIA — A 19-year-old Columbia woman fell out of a second-story window shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday, Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Officer Latisha Stroer said.

The incident happened at 101 Orr St. downtown. Police said the woman had been drinking alcohol prior to the fall.

She was taken to the hospital, but the police declined to comment on the severity of her injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
