Ann White, of Columbia, June 10, 1938 — July 9, 2013

Ann Millicent White, 75 of Columbia, MO passed away Tuesday, July 9 2013 at University Hospital. Memorial service will be Sunday August 18, 2013 from 2-5PM at the Unitarian-Universalist Church 2615 Shepard Blvd Columbia, MO.

Mrs. White was born June 10, 1938, in Chicago, IL to Thomas Engenes Wideroe and Zula Zeigler Wideroe. She attended the Eastman School of Music from 1966-56. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL in 1959. Mrs. White lived in Missouri, Illinois and Ohio, where she taught public school music, before moving to Columbia, MO in 1971 to attend the University of Missouri. She received a Master’s in Music Education in 1973 from the University of Missouri. In 1973 she married Arnold Allen White and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2004. She was an active member of the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Columbia and the Columbia Boone County League of Women Voters.

Survivors include: a daughter, Rachel Ann Stanley of Tampa, FL; a daughter-in-law, Carla Stanley and granddaughters, Julia Ann & Samariah Stanley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and son, Philip Michael Stanley.
