Mother, son spend Sunday together

Tanisha Moore holds up two flavors of Bug Juice for her son, Gary Lewis III, 16 months, at Break Time on Providence on Sunday. Moore spent the day with her son and sister after Sunday service at Fifth Street Christian Church in downtown Columbia.

COLUMBIA — Tanisha Moore spent the day with her son, Gary Lewis III, after Sunday service at Fifth Street Christian Church in downtown Columbia.

Moore moved to Columbia from New York state when she was in high school to be with her mom and now works at the Nora Stewart Learning Center on Ash Street. She said she’s looking to go to school in the near future and get her associate degree.
