Columbia's Mindy Coyle defends Mid-Amateur title

COLUMBIA – Columbia's Mindy Coyle held off a charge from Kansas City's Carmen Titus to win the Third Annual Missouri Women's Golf Association Mid-Amateur Title on Tuesday at the Country Club of Missouri.

Coyle finished the final day with a 73. Her scores of 71-73 gave her medalist honors. The Open division of the tournament was won by Jaclyn Laboi of Branson. Her round included a hole in one of the par three 15th hole.
