TELL US: How has school changed since you were young?

Sunday, August 18, 2013 | 6:00 a.m. CDT; updated 3:33 p.m. CDT, Friday, August 30, 2013

It's back-to-school time, and families are busy meeting new teachers, shopping for clothes and supplies, and trying to get everyone to bed earlier.

No matter how long it's been since you were in school, we're wondering if you find yourself shaking your head at the experiences school kids have these days and how those experiences differ from your own.

Whether you have your own "walk to school uphill both ways in the snow" kind of story or are just wondering when school supply lists started including paper towels and cleaning supplies, we hope you'll share your perspective here.
