Dusty Allan Reeves, Sept. 17, 1993 — Aug. 22, 2013

Dusty Allan Reeves, 19, of Miami, Mo., formerly of Columbia, died Friday, August 16, 2013, as the result of a two automobile accident near Slater.

Memorial services will be Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. at Slater United Methodist Church with Revs. Adam Snell and Ed Algya officiating. Memorials are suggested to a trust fund for his daughter, Kara Michelle Reeves.

Born September 17, 1993, in Santa Anna, California, he was the son of Aaron Spade of Warrenton, Virginia, and Teresa Reeves of Miami, Missouri.

Also surviving is his daughter, Kara Michelle Reeves of Miami; his step-father, Kenny Wall of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; a brother, Joshua Reeves of Slater; maternal grandfather, James Reeves, Sr. of Waverly, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Charles and Kathy McMellen Hostetter of Slater; maternal great-grandmother, Peggy McMellen of Slater; paternal grandparents, Richard and Theresa Spade of Warrenton, Va.; a nephew, Jonathan Reeves of Slater; special aunts and uncles, Debbie Countryman, Matt & Debbie Gruber; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Mr. Reeves was a member of the Valley View Community Church in Columbia. He attended Bunceton public schools and was a 2012 graduate of Hickman High School in Columbia. He worked at Applebee’s in Marshall.

Weiker Funeral Home in Slater is in charge of the arrangements.
