Memphis defeats Missouri soccer in overtime

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The University of Memphis scored in the seventh minute of overtime for a 2-1 win over Missouri on Sunday.

The loss dropped Missouri to 1-1 on the year. Memphis is 2-0.

Both teams had 11 shots in the game. Missouri had a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal. The Tigers return home at 6:30 p.m. Friday to play against Southeast Missouri State.
