COLUMBIA — The Missouri women's soccer team improved to 3-1 on the season with a 3-0 win Sunday night at UMKC.

The Tigers got off to a quick start with freshman Melanie Donaldson picking up her first career goal in the second minute off a Taylor Grant corner kick.

Grant got a goal of her own in the 70th minute, and senior Alyssa Diggs made it 3-0 just 12 minutes later.

Missouri will travel to the Texas A&M Tournament this weekend, where the team will take on Baylor and San Diego. The Tigers will return home to Audrey J. Walton Stadium to face Eastern Illinois at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 13.
