Rock Bridge girls tennis and volleyball, Hickman softball capture victories

Rock Bridge tennis beats Rolla

The Rock Bridge girls tennis team played Rolla and won 9-0. The win brings the team's record to 5-0. The top four players did not make the trip, head coach Ben Loeb said, but Hannah Pohl stepped up from the No. 5 spot on the ladder to win at No. 1 singles. Rock Bridge is scheduled to play Belleville West on Friday.  

Hickman softball victorious

Hickman High School softball beat Ursuline Academy 9-3 on Thursday in St. Louis. Molly Carter, Allie Dishinger and Shannon Greene had back-to-back-to-back home runs in the third inning, and Carter and Dishinger added another home run each in the fourth. Greene got the win to bring the Kewpies' record to 5-2. Hickman plays at Kirksville on Tuesday. 

Rock Bridge volleyball wins

Rock Bridge volleyball hosted Kansas City's Archbishop O'Hara High School Thursday night. Rock Bridge won 25-15, 25-13.
