Missouri volleyball is off to its best start since 2005, winning the Yale Invitational in New Haven, Conn.
The Tigers improved to 8-0, beating three teams that won their respective leagues last year to claim the title.
Missouri's most recent victory came against Colgate. The Tigers won 3-0 (25-16, 25-18, 25-14), and senior All-American Lisa Henning led the way with 17 kills.
Molly Kreklow was named the tournament's most valuable player. The senior setter averaged 12.4 assists per set over the tournament.
The Tigers are scheduled to play Rice, North Carolina State and Houston Baptist in next weekend's Rice Invitational.
