Monday, September 9, 2013 | 1:34 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Demographic data of Missouri’s unemployment claims are collected each month. Every age group has lowered the amount of claims since the peak in January 2013. People aged 45 to 54 had the highest number of claims in January. The group has made fewer claims since then, but it still remains the age group with the highest number of claims.
