Missouri volleyball remains undefeated

HOUSTON – Missouri volleyball played in the Rice Invitational on Friday, beating  NC State and Rice to improve to a 10-0 record on the season.

In the first match against NC State, senior Molly Kreklow recorded 42 assists on 47 kills in three sets, well above her national-leading average of 12.85 per match. The team also had a season high 56 digs.

Against Rice, Missouri continued to dominate on offense, hitting .411 while Rice came up with only .092. Senior Lisa Henning led the team with 13 kills.

With Friday's wins, the Tigers have swept 8 of their last 10 matches.

Missouri will continue tournament play against Houston Baptist at 11 a.m. Saturday in Houston.
