Mark Douglas Weaver, 53, was loving husband, friend

COLUMBIA — Mark Douglas Weaver of Hallsville died Sept. 12, 2013, after his battle with brain cancer. He was 53.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Baptist Church, 7461 N. Brown Station Road.

Mr. Weaver was born July 22, 1960, in Springfield, Ill., to James F. and Patricia A. Grove Weaver. He married Tina Franken on Jan. 14, 1988, in Columbia, and they had two children, Brennan and Farrell.

Mr. Weaver graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science in 1986.

He was the general manager for Henderson Implement for the past eight years.  

Mr. Weaver was a faithful, smart, helpful, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend.

Survivors include: his wife, Tina, of Hallsville; his parents, Jim and Pat Weaver; a son, Brennan Weaver of Columbia; a daughter, Farrell Connell, and husband Mikel of Columbia; a sister, Barb Nixon, and husband Van; a brother, Dave Weaver, and wife Laurie; and nieces, nephews and many friends.

His brother James Patrick Weaver and his grandparents preceded him in death.

Memorials may be given to Liberty Baptist Church for the missionary fund or Life Network of Central Missouri, 802 N. Providence Road, Suite 2, Columbia, MO 65203.
