Columbia College women's cross country wins the Central Missouri Mule Run

WARRENSBURG — The Columbia College women's cross country team won its 12-team event Saturday at the Central Missouri Mule Run in Warrensburg.

The Cougars' Lindsey Martin placed second out of 119 runners with a finish of 14:47.05. Emily Shultz finished in fourth place with a time of 14:49.93. Freshman Riley Fader placed 10th.

Maggie Noble (15th) and Julia Montgomery (18th) were the teams other top-20 finishers.

On the men's side of the competition, the Cougars did not post a team score with three participants, but were led by Michael McCulloch's 20:58.39 fifth-place finish.
