Both Columbia College soccer teams get wins in Tennessee

COLUMBIA—Columbia College men's and women's soccer teams both tallied wins against Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tenn., on Tuesday The women won 8-0 and the men won 2-0.

In the women's game, junior MacKenzie Knepper scored three goals, and sophomore Kelly Ross had two goals. Amanda Caldwell, Stephanie Hale and Lauren Beishir each added a goal as well.

Goalies Erica Ramirez and Flavia Rosado split the game.

The women's team play its next game at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at home against William Woods.

Seniors Antonio Ayres and Rafael Ramos each had goals for the men's team, and senior Matt McKenna played the whole game in goal.

The men's next game is at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday against Mid-Continent University. It is Columbia College's homecoming weekend game.
