Missouri swimming at home Friday

Wednesday, October 2, 2013 | 10:45 p.m. CDT

Missouri swimming and diving hosts eight in-state teams Friday at the ninth annual Show-Me Showdown, according to a release.

Both the men's and women's teams ended last season with 14th-place finishes at the NCAA championships — a program-best for both teams. Three 2013 All-America men and two All-America women return for this season.

The meet is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. Friday at the Mizzou Aquatic Center. Fans will have the chance to buy pink swim caps for $10 each to benefit Susan G. Komen Mid-Missouri. Fans can also watch a free live stream of the event online.
