Columbia volleyball sweeps Stephens

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College volleyball team defeated Stephens College for the second time this season, this time in three sets. Columbia won 25-8, 25-11, 25-15.

Junior Lydie van Deursen led the Cougars with 31 assists.

Columbia's record is now 13-4. Stephens College moved to 3-10 this season.

Stephens is scheduled to host Peru State College 7 p.m. Friday. Columbia is scheduled to host Missouri Baptist University 7 p.m. Tuesday.
