Columbia volleyball wins fifth straight game

COLUMBIA — The 22nd-ranked Columbia College Cougars won their fifth straight game Wednesday, beating American Midwest Conference foe Harris-Stowe State University.

Columbia didn't drop a set in the match, winning 25-8, 25-13, 25-13.

Trinity Ojo led the Cougars recording 11 kills. Joana Alvarez contributed 20 assists, and Shelby Gordon had six digs.

Columbia is scheduled to travel to St. Louis on Friday, where it will compete in the Spartan Invitational hosted by Missouri Baptist University over the weekend.
