A team of participants of the Susan G. Komen Mid-Missouri Race for the Cure gather along the sidelines of the course, waiting to get in line to run the 5k on Saturday at Peace Park.

Supporters met on a cool, cloudy morning to run in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K on Saturday.

Since 1983, the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K run has become a beacon for breast cancer awareness and a tribute to those who have died from the disease.
