Weekend saturation effort leads to 25 arrests

COLUMBIA — A weekend saturation effort by local law enforcement resulted in 25 arrests, including 10 felony charges.

The saturation effort took place Thursday and Friday, and it resulted in 92 traffic stops and 25 arrests, according to a Columbia Police Department news release.

The Columbia Police Department, Boone County Sheriff's Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and FBI carried out the saturation effort.
