Repairs to close lanes on Old Plank Road starting Monday

Old Plank Road between Forum Boulevard and Bethel Street will close at 7 a.m. Monday for pavement repairs. The road is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

COLUMBIA — Repairs on Old Plank Road will result in lane restrictions starting Monday morning.

The lane closures will take place between Forum Boulevard and Bethel Street and begin at 7 a.m. Monday, according to a Columbia Public Works Department news release. These restrictions are the result of asphalt pavement repairs on the street.

The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Tuesday. During the repairs, drivers are encouraged to use caution or avoid the area.
