Despite an first-set loss, Missouri volleyball defeated the LSU on Friday 3-1 (17-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-21.)
Missouri hit a season-low .227 but had a season-high 87 digs.
"That was one of those matches that was just a battle," head coach Wayne Kreklow said, in a press release. "It's a lot better to win ugly than lose pretty and that's what we did tonight."
Sarah Meister had 24 digs, a season high for her. Carly Kan had 24 kills and 17 digs. Lisa Henning and Molly Kreklow both added double-doubles.
Missouri is scheduled to play on the road again at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday against Texas A&M.
