Missouri women's golf has second round of tournament canceled

COLUMBIA — The second round of the Las Vegas Intercollegiate Golf Tournament was canceled Monday due to inclement weather.

The Missouri women's golf team is in Las Vegas participating in the tournament. Play is scheduled to resume Tuesday at 8 a.m., and the tournament will be shortened to 36 holes.

UNLV leads the tournament at even par after the first round, and the Tigers are tied for seventh with a score of 2-over par. There are 17 teams competing. 

Redshirt sophomore Michelle Butler is in second place overall with a score 1-under par, and sophomore Katherine Hepler is tied for 21st overall with a score of 1-over par.
