COLUMBIA — After beating Tennessee 31-3 Saturday night, Missouri moved up one spot to No. 9 in Sunday's AP rankings.
The top five teams remain unchanged this week. Alabama and Oregon had bye weeks but stayed at the top of the poll. Florida State beat Miami to keep its spot at No. 3. Ohio State and Baylor round out the top five.
Miami's loss dropped the team to No. 14 from No. 7, which cleared the way for Southeastern Conference teams to jump up a spot in the rankings. Auburn moved to No. 7 after beating Arkansas. After wins on Saturday, South Carolina was ranked at No. 13, and Texas A&M was at No. 11. LSU had a bye week but moved to No. 10.
BCS rankings will be released later Sunday.
