COLUMBIA — The Missouri Tigers defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 31-3 at Faurot Field on Saturday night.
Maty Mauk (163 passing yards, 114 rushing yards) led Missouri (8-1) to 502 total yards, and the defense only allowed a 51-yard field goal by the visitors.
After two fruitless drives, Mauk finally connected with Dorial Green-Beckham and L'Damian Washington on touchdown passes in the first half, and the game was never close after Missouri took a 24-3 lead into the break.
Missouri will travel to Lexington, Ky. next week to play the Kentucky Wildcats.
