People react to Ryan Ferguson's possible release

COLUMBIA — Ryan Ferguson, a Columbia man who was convicted of murder for the 2001 death of a newspaper sports editor, had his conviction vacated Tuesday by the Western District appeals court. The court ordered the state to release Ferguson in the next 15 days if prosecutors have not filed notice of a retrial within that time period.
People expressed their shock, joy, worries and questions on social media.
