COLUMBIA — A man was arrested Monday evening in connection with a sexual misconduct incident reported  Sept. 10.

Anthony Michael Sada, 26, of Brookfield turned himself in to the Columbia Police Department and was arrested on suspicion of felony sexual misconduct involving a child, according to a police department news release. Bond is set at $4,500.

On Sept. 10, two teenage girls were walking home from school in Cosmo-Bethel Park when they saw a man masturbating in a SUV, and they reported that he could have been taking pictures of himself or them, according to previous Missourian reporting. A similar incident and description were reported Aug. 30. Cosmo-Bethel is near the Gentry Middle School.

Police first considered Sada a suspect in the Sept. 10 incident when he was arrested Oct. 21 after exposing himself in a business on the 500 block of E. Nifong Blvd, according to the release. He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual misconduct in the second degree for that exposure.
