COLUMBIA — The body of a missing Boonville man was found Sunday morning, according to a Boonville Police Department news release.

The Cooper County Coroner's Office identified the body of Michael G. Magyar, 46, who had been reported missing Thursday.

His body was found in a wooded area in Boonville near Oregon Trail shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday.

No official cause of death has been determined yet, but the police department does not suspect foul play was involved, according to the release.

An autopsy will be held to establish the cause of death.
