COLUMBIA — A staff member for Sen. Claire McCaskill will host a "Kitchen Table Talk" on Tuesday for residents of Columbia.

Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting that will be hosted by local staff member Corey Husak. The session will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the Friends Room at the Columbia Public Library, 100 W. Broadway.

The purpose of this meeting is to reach out to residents, listen to their thoughts and ideas about federal policies and legislation and take these comments back to Sen. McCaskill. In addition, the meeting will serve to inform residents of the services that are available through Sen. McCaskill's regional offices.

If residents have any questions, they are encouraged to email Husak at or call 573-442-7130.
