Three commit to Missouri volleyball team

COLUMBIA — Three high school volleyball players signed Wednesday to play for Missouri.

Locally, senior Ali Kreklow of Rock Bridge High School, daughter of Missouri coaches Wayne and Susan Kreklow, signed at Rock Bridge on Wednesday afternoon.

"I am there because I love Columbia, and I love Mizzou, and I love being home," Ali Kreklow said. "That’s why I want to be there.”

According to Twitter, other signees include Alexa Armendariz from Blue Springs South High School in Blue Springs, Mo., and Sydney Deeken from California High School in California, Mo.

Deeken put a picture on Twitter of her signing.

Armendariz's tweet included a link to an Instagram photo of her signing and said: "Couldn't be more thankful! Excited to see what the future holds!"
