COLUMBIA — No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Providence Road and Elm Street.

At around 8 p.m. Wednesday, one car was in the intersection and the other car had gone off the road and was about 200 feet south of the intersection. A police officer at the scene said no one was injured.

Alexis Combs, 18, who drove the car that was in the intersection, said she was driving down Providence toward Broadway with a green light when the second vehicle attempted to turn left onto Elm Street. Combs said she did not have time to brake.

Details of how the second vehicle went off the road were not available.
