Rock Bridge boys win at Hannibal Tournament

COLUMBIA — The Hannibal Thanksgiving Tournament opened well for the Rock Bridge boys basketball team. Rock Bridge beat Kirksville 88-58 in the first round Monday night.

Rock Bridge* was led by 23 points and five assists from Ryan Kreklow, and Jackson Dubinski had 21 points and six assists.

Kirksville fell behind 26-15 after the first quarter, and Rock Bridge led 49-29 at halftime.

"We played pretty well, shot it pretty well," Rock Bridge coach Jim Scanlon said. "It's a good first win. We go back to work tomorrow."

Josh Broadus with 15 points and Harris Pardalos with 10 points were also in double figures for Rock Bridge. Trayvon Tuney led Rock Bridge in rebounding with eight.

Rock Bridge faces host Hannibal at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
