Rock Bridge girls basketball loses first game in Tennessee Turkey Jam Invite

COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge girls basketball team fell to Blackman High School (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) on Saturday night, 48-50. Blackman is currently ranked No. 22 in USA Today's Super 25 rankings.

The Bruins battled hard but were not able to secure the victory. Rock Bridge was led in scoring by junior guard Sophie Cunningham, who had 22 points.

Rock Bridge will play its second game of the Tennessee Turkey Jam Invite at 3 p.m. Sunday against Riverdale, who also hail from Murfreesboro.
