This week, Missourian photographers took photos of Parkade Elementary School students learning how to use Twitter, MU's introduction of R. Bowen Loftin as the new chancellor and the various Missouri athletics teams playing during an action-packed weekend.

In this photo by Kevin Cook, Elisha, a student in Chad Bass' fifth grade class at Parkade Elementary School, watches a Twitter demonstration on screen. Parkade has been experimenting with Twitter to teach students how to use social media properly and keep parents informed about what's happening in their children's classrooms.

Julia Sumpter captured this image of Sadie, a nasal tumor patient at the Mizzou Animal Cancer Care facility, as doctors administered anesthesia before a radiation treatment. Julie Wentz, a veterinarian at the facility, says caring for dogs with cancer has been a rewarding challenge.

Fareeha Amir took this photo of John Robinson's map, which has all the roads he's traveled on marked in black. Robinson, a former tourism director for the state of Missouri, completed his quest to travel all of Missouri's back roads in 2010.

In a photo by Mackenzie BruceJordan Reeves, 7, claps to the beat of the music during her dance class at Dancearts of Columbia. Reeves was born with a left arm that stops just below the elbow, and her mother, Jen, started an organization called Born Just Right to create an open and understanding conversation about limb differences.

In a photo by Kholood Eid, R. Bowen Loftin addresses the crowd at Reynolds Alumni Center after being named MU's new chancellor.

Greg Kendall-Ball took this photo of Missouri wrestler J'den Cox leaving the mat after losing to Ohio's Phil Wellington, his first loss since freshman year at Hickman High School.

In a photo by Fareeha Amir, Missouri volleyball's Carly Kan celebrates after making a kill in Missouri's first-round tournament win over IUPUI. The Tigers went on to lose to Purdue in the second round of the tournament.

In a photo by Amy Stroth, Missouri quarterback James Franklin runs away from Auburn defensive lineman Angelo Blackson in the first quarter of Missouri's 59-42 loss to Auburn in the SEC Championship game.

Julia Sumpter took this photo of Missouri basketball player Jordan Clarkson going up for a dunk in Missouri's 80-71 win over UCLA on Saturday.
