COLUMBIA — The Missouri men's basketball team was led to wins against West Virginia and UCLA by junior guard Jordan Clarkson. His play earned him the honor of becoming the Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Clarkson was also named National Player of the Week by College Sports Madness on Monday.

He scored 25 points against West Virginia on Thursday, and he went for 21 points against UCLA on Saturday. Missouri won the two games by identical 80-71 scores.

It's the second time this season Clarkson has received the SEC honor.

Missouri is 9-0 heading into a 6 p.m. Sunday home game against Western Michigan.
