Linda Lou Knernschield loved nature, birdwatching

COLUMBIA — Linda Lou Knernschield of Macon died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013. She was 61.

She was born Jan. 18, 1952, in Columbia, to Romie Claud and Alberta Belle (Prouse) Baker.

She worked at Square D for 26 years before retiring in 2005.

She enjoyed nature, birdwatching and going on car rides. 

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Boyce and her husband, James, of Macon; three siblings, Claud Baker of Macon, Judy Rippeto of North Carolina and James Dale Beotcher of Washington; five grandchildren, Jake, Jamie, Kyle, Sam and Cody; and seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Katlyn, Brooklynn, Elizabeth, Hailee, Elijah and Khloie.

A celebration of life will be held at noon Thursday at the Family Worship Center, 4925 E. Bonne Femme Church Road.
